Hey cycling fam! Let’s chat about a jersey that’s got me scratching my head … This week’s review is on the Liv/Cuore cycling jersey, and let me tell you, it’s a real head-turner. The salmon, green, and turquoise watercolor design is pure summer Mallorca vibes. I mean, how could I resist? I have to admit that I’m obsessed with how it looks, however, I would have never expected that it would throw some sizing mysteries my way, which is why I’m here to dig in with you all!
The Spectra certainly delivered on comfort. The fabric felt soft against my skin. However, compared to my other Liv Small size jerseys, it ran a looser than expected.
Despite the slight bagginess, my first impressions are very positive.

Let’s dive in the product review
Something that you don’t know (but might figure out about me) is that I’m an overthinker byer. Money is precious, and every purchase needs to be well-considered. However, sometimes, I feel head over heels and make some rushed and emotional purchases (and then, when I start analyzing the products I always find something I wish I would have considered better). And this was the case with the Liv/Cuore cycling jersey.
First Impressions: A Visual Triumph
Unpacking the jersey, I was immediately impressed. The dye design was stunning, and the fabric feels light and airy – perfect for those brutal summer rides. Plus, all those little holes (mesh panels, for my newbie friends out there!) promised maximum coolness on the trails. Basically, I could picture picturing myself conquering the Illinois trails in style and comfort.
Fit Check: Surprise, Surprise!
Then came the fit check, and that’s where things got interesting. I always order a small in Liv jerseys, but this one? Way baggier than expected. For someone who usually finds XS a tad too snug on the shoulders with Liv, this was a major head-scratcher. So, I channel my inner detective (because that’s what us overthinker buyers do!), and spotted a “Cuore” label hiding in the neck. Turns out, this jersey is a collab between Liv and Cuore, a Swiss brand. That explains the looser fit – common in European gravel jerseys, but a bit unexpected from a road-focused brand like Liv.
The Mystery of the Sizing Guide
And the plot thickens! Buried under another label, I found a sizing guide. But here’s the kicker: there are zero instructions in the Liv’s site on how to decipher it! The guide seemed to hint at slightly oversized sleeves, but the missing body measurements left me totally confused.
Stay tuned for the follow-up!
So, the jury’s still out on the Liv/Cuore jersey. It’s got stunning looks and a potentially sweat-fighting fabric, but the surprise sizing throws a wrench in things. I’m waiting to hear back from Cuore about the sizing guide (yes, I had to reach out), and I’ll definitely update this post with their response.
In the meantime, remember – cycling is all about having fun and enjoying the ride! So, get out there, soak up that sunshine, and crank those pedals! ☀️
